Terry Gilliam.  The man holds a magical power that only he can tap into, like Zelda and the Tri-force.  His films are 20 different kinds of wonderful. Yet, no other director has had SO MUCH SHIT land on his lap in a career.  It seems that every time something goes right, 2 things go wrong.  Well, not now.
His latest film, the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, a movie I am eagerly waiting for like a slutty ho back stage at an Usher concert, is finally getting some screen time.  Its set to bow at this years Cannes, and some stunning pics have turned up on the net.

So far, there has been a lot of positive buzz on this film, more so than the fact that its Heath Ledger’s LAST FILM EVER.  I hope to Crom that this film finally gets Gilliam the acclaim that he properly deserves.  For if BRAZIL, THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHHAUSEN, THE FISHER KING, 12 MONKEYS, or my all time favorite film, FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS cant do it, then what truly will?  The man is a cinematic mad genius, who’s visual style Tim Burton WISHES he could touch!
