Supergroup. No, not a rock band that dons a cape and tights to fight crime. Think more Devastator or Voltron: a band comprised of members from other notable acts. The idea being that the whole will somehow magically become more than the sum of its parts. Often, it works the other way, and the results are little more than the curiosty of a vanity project.
